Ohana is a B2B technology platform that is a new solution to increase sales and retain customers in the SMB segment.  Ohana's community, eco-system approach is a forward looking, next generation selling opportunity for selected partners. The concept of Ohana makes technology the enabler, but the value is in the complex B2B relationships - Trust, Reputation, Longevity.

Summary:
Ohana has completed a 9 month market trial along with years of extensive market research.  Ohana is a new way of utilizing technology to increase sales for SMB/lower to mid-market commercial businesses.

The SMB Challenge for Sellers and Manufacturers: Unlocking the SMB and Lower mid-market commercial business segment has the industry's highest growth rate potential.  Many of our partners have struggled to see high single digit growth in this space with today's conventional programs, large investments, and return on investment scaling pressures.  Adoption is non existent.  According to a study by Accenture, smaller businesses exhibit drifting, independent buying  patterns.  Intense competition is growing for the same market share.
  • Lack of Net New Customers
  • Lack of real time data
  • Lack of scale using traditional top down selling inhibits sustained success
  • Lack of engaged partners

The Challenges SMBS face:  This space suffers from fragmentation, isolation, and inter-dependencies while possessing unique buying patterns.  The world’s estimated 347 million Small Medium Businesses (SMB) and 100 million Unbanked Businesses (UBB) represent an economic force of one trillion dollars per year but face steep survival challenges and barriers to succeed.  Barriers such as payments, banking, global reach, branding, and marketing continue to be a problem despite the pioneering success of today’s major internet players.  In the U.S., only 50% of all SMBs survive after 5 years.  UBBs primarily reside in less developed regions and face even worse odds of survival throughout the world.
  • Lack of resiliency
  • Lack of interlocking ecosystem for success
  • Recovery from the Covid19 pandemic
Our Solution: A new digital SMB community ecosystem to generate new sales and opportunities.   This is a win-win for our selected partners and SMB-Commercial customers. The Ohana business network  will grow to become a  global digital community enabling millions of businesses to create greater resiliency and new opportunities for themselves. Ohana's partners will sell directly into this new ecosystem
  • Create a new Digital SMB Community Model
  • Inverted T selling use case or the Ohana Horizontal Business Model
  • Shift to Horizontal vs. Vertical Selling
Ohana is an enabler partner sales and customer experience.  Ohana has created the right solution to solve the below business problems:
The Small Business Problem:  SMBs don't have the same buying and selling opportunities as larger companies.  The SMB survival rate is only 50% after 5 years of existence.  Most SMBs lack a viable ecosystem to sustain and grow.
The Manufacturer Problem:  Large Enterprises face continuous erosion of their SMB businesses primarily due to reliance on resellers to stay in touch with this segment.  They are facing a growth problem, especially prevalent in in the IT industry segment.
The Reseller Problem: Selling  and catering to small commercial businesses is not scaleable and lack a strong ROI with today's solutions.  Retaining customers is a big problem.  Finding Net-New customers is an even bigger problem.

Risk & Mitigation: Go to market execution, global scale, and barriers to entry, represent risk factors of the Ohana network. To mitigate these problems, Ohana will utilize a proven sales channel model with partners in all business verticals and governments to recruit and onboard SMBs.  With the explosive growth of smartphones, businesses can achieve unprecedented access via the internet to buy, sell, share, and create partnerships.  Ohana solves SMB access constraints with a freemium entry point and a low cost paid subscription model for expanded services.  Ohana does not compete with the established e-commerce giants but will look to partner and help them build their businesses with referrals, branding, and revenue sharing.

Future Roadmap: Ohana will add technology such as the emerging world of blockchain including a planned 2023 SB Digital Certification service.  This is Artificial Intelligence integrated in a horizontal selling motion, a paradigm shift.  First to market in this Next Gen space will be strategically positioned for years to come.  Our technology development and integration philosophy is agnostic, and our community will decide what and which business applications are delivered.  The Ohana business model is a Software as a Service (SaaS) with recurring revenue to be a thriving, fully functioning business.

The COVID Challenge
SMBs are looking for resilience by accelerating their digital transformation.  Ohana can help partners to meet the challenges by reaching new customers with technology driven solutions.

The Ecosystem is the Holy Grail

A select consortium of strategic partners will be the big winners over other competitors across business industries.  Ohana delivers a an unprecedented route to market utilizing a new horizontal selling model.  Partners would be a vital part of a community ecosystem of small to medium business that rely on the goods and services our partners provide.

Today’s dominant ecosystems were launched by ascendant tech companies, which have used hyperscale platforms to compete by controlling customer interfaces and control points such as search, advertising, and messaging.
